Today is a GOOD day... Today is a VERY good day. We
started Porkins Central on December 12th, 1997... In the beginning, we
only had one page, a handful of graphics on a case-sensitive server, and
a handful of porkophiles in our ranks... It took more than a year for the
Porkins
Petition to get past 12 names... But eventually you Porkophiles found
us...
It took years of work, and the Red 6 Encyclopedia to start making our small site stand out among the others, but eventually our efforts were rewarded. HAsbro announced a Jek Porkins figure, our counter climbed higher and higher, and one of those hits was from one person in particular... William Hootkins.
Today, we got a call from Mr. Hootkins himself... At first I didn't believe it was really him, but by God, it was Porkins himself!!! Long story short, we are now friends. :)
Mr. Hootkins is a great man, and has love for squirrels eerily similar to mine! Who'd have thunk?
Anyway, to Mr. Hootkins, if you're reading, Everyone here at Porkins Central says Hi (with a certain amount of parading around strutting our stuff) and to everyone else, I'd like to thank you for letting me take this time to flaunt our endorsement by the MAN himself, Mr. William "Porkins" Hootkins!

On March 27 - 28, William "Porkins" Hootkins will be making his first ever
convention appearance at the Sci-Fi
Expo in Plano, TX. This show will also include Timothy Zahn and Garrick
"Biggs" Hagon. Garrick also does not make many convention appearances,
so this is a must see event for Star Wars fans. Hootkins was also in Batman
